FAQ

What tradies ask before they switch it on.

Why not a cheap DIY app?+

DIY apps are software you set up and keep running yourself, usually with a small number of calls included and extras costing more. FrontDesk is set up for you from your website, includes calls, chat, email, bookings, urgent transfers and the morning summary, and we keep tuning it so it gets better every month.

Will my customers know it's AI?+

If they ask, it says so. Most callers just want someone to pick up, take the job and tell them when you're coming. That's what it does.

What if it gets something wrong?+

It only says what's in your setup form: your services, prices, areas and hours. Anything it isn't sure of, it takes the details and passes to you. Every enquiry is logged, so you can check any of them.

How does the chat get on my website?+

One line of code. Your web person can add it in a few minutes. If you don't have one, we do it for you.

Do I need a new phone number?+

No. You keep your number and forward it when you can't answer, after hours or all the time. Turn it off from your phone any time.

Can it quote?+

It can give the prices you set, like a callout fee or a starting price. Anything that needs a site visit, it books the visit.

Is there a lock-in?+

Six months to start, then month to month. Results show from the first week, and six months gives you enough calls to judge it properly.

What happens after I pay?+

Your setup form opens straight away. It takes about 20 minutes: services, prices, areas, hours and how you book jobs. We build and test it, then you forward your phone. Live within five working days.

What does the morning summary look like?+

One email first thing: each enquiry with the time, name, number, suburb, the job and what was booked. Read it in a minute, then call back the ones that need you.
